What We Believe
God desires to visit His people, and reveal His love and power to us. As a church, we embrace this aspect of God's will and desire.
Our Values
EVANGELISM - Our mission is to reach the lost. To see people grow in a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
WORSHIP - We strive to worship in Spirit and in Truth. Worship is a lifestyle of communion with Jesus Christ.
PRAYER - God is calling many today with a renewed sense of prayer and intercession. We are called to stand in the gap on behalf of others.
COMPASSION - Jesus had great compassion on those that others wanted little to do with. As an extension of Christ, we strive to move with love and compassion to help others in need.
Our Beliefs
1. The Bible is the inspired and only infallible Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:15-17)
2. There is one true God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 42:10-11, Luke 3:22)
3. The Diety of our Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God. (Matthew 1:23, Hebrews 7:26, I Peter 2:22, Colossians 1:15-19)
4. In the Fall and sinfulness of man and that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the redeeming blood of Christ. (Genesis 1:26-27, Romans 5:12-19, Romans 10:13-15, Ephesians 2:8)
5. Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential to personal salvation. (John 3:3, John 3:16)
6. We practice two ordinances: (1) Water Baptism by immersion after repenting of one’s sins and receiving the gift of salvation. And (2) Holy Communion (the Lord’s Supper) as a symbolic remembrance of Christ’s suffering and death for our salvation. (Matthew 28:19)
7. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it. The Holy Spirit in a persons life is evidenced by changes in his life, including a renewed love for God, and people, a commitment to the scriptures and holy living. (Acts 1:4,8 , I Corinthians 12:1-31, John 7:37-39)
8. The initial physical evidence of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is speaking with other tongues. (Acts 2:4, I Corinthians 12:4-10,28)
9. In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life. (Romans 12:1,2)
10. The church and its mission, the body of Christ and it's fourfold mission. (Ephesians 1:22,23)
1. Evangelization- Mark 16:15,16
2. Worship- I Corinthians 12:13
3. Edification- Ephesians 4:11-16
4. Compassion- Psalm 112:9
11. The Ministry, provided by our Lord for the fourfold purpose of leading the church. (Mark 16:15-20, John 4:23-24, Ephesians 4:11,16; Psalm 112:9, Galatians 2:10, James 1:27)
12. Divine healing is available through the redemptive work of Christ on the cross. (Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:16-17, James 5:14-16)
13. The Blessed hope, the Rapture (I Thessalonians 4:16-17, Romans 8:23, Titus 2:13, I Corinthians 15:51-52)
14. The Millennial Reign of Christ (Zechariah 14:5, Matthew 24:30, Revelation 1:7, 19:11-14;20:1-6; Ezekial 37:21,22, Romans 11:26-27, Isaiah 11:6-9, Psalm 72:3-8, Micah 4:3-4)
15. The Final Judgement ( Matthew 25:46, Mark 9:43-48, Revelation 19:20, 20:11-15,21:8)
16. The New Heavens and a New Earth (2 Peter 3:13, Revelation 21,22)
17. Christian growth can only be realized by faith in the promise of God (2 Corinthians 1:20, 7:1, 2 Peter 1:4, I John 2:25)
18. Marriage is God-ordained. “The creator made them male and female, and said, “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh” (Matthew 19:4-5). Marriage is to be an exclusive relationship, a lifelong faithful union between a man and a woman. This relationship between a husband and wife should parallel the relationship between Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:23-30).
